Images and Results
At Holmdel Imaging, we know that getting accurate results on screening and diagnostic exams is of paramount importance. Treatment decisions depend on the quality of the images produced and the skill and experience of the interpreting radiologist.
The technologists at Holmdel Imaging have completed specialized education in radiology and have advanced level certification in their area of expertise. Each is licensed and holds registries certifying their qualifications to perform the exams. This level of expertise ensures not only quality, but safety as well. We employ a certified Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer, (MRSO) who is charged with executing the MR safety practices at all our center locations. This certification is through the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety, (ABMRS), and allow our centers to use the distinction, Magnetic Resonance Safety Certified (MRSC™).
The quality of the images produced at our centers is submitted to and validated by our accrediting body, The American College of Radiology. Holmdel Imaging is proud to have maintained ACR accreditation, without interruption, since the inception of imaging accreditation standards.
In addition, our centers also participate in Image Gently. The Image Gently Alliance is a coalition of health care organizations dedicated to providing safe, high quality pediatric imaging worldwide. The primary objective of the Alliance is to raise awareness in the imaging community of the need to adjust radiation dose when imaging children.
Our centers are also annual pledge participants of Image Wisely, a joint initiative of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Society of Radiological Technologists and American Association of Physicists in Medicine.
Imaging exams performed at Holmdel Imaging’s locations are interpreted by the radiologists at Red Bank Radiologists. Red Bank Radiologists’ board certified radiologists provide specialized reads for abdominal, thoracic, breast, musculoskeletal, neuroradiology and pediatric radiology.
